Pupils Perform at the London Concert
Every year Bryanston goes to town, with all its choirs and ensembles to give a Bryanston School Concert in central London. This was the first year the prep were involved.
Our string players performed "Zadok the Priest" with the senior string players. It has been the coronation anthem of British monarchs for centuries and was cleverly arranged by Mrs Scott, Head of Strings, to involve and inspire our beginner string players.
Everyone in the interval was talking about our prep school choir who sang Rutter's "Look at the World" with polish and confidence, sounding utterly angelic, accompanied by the magnificent organ of Holy Trinity Church Sloane Square.
At the prep we were particularly proud to see recent old girls performing, including Anna singing solo (she is now applying to conservatoires to study voice), Pippa D on trumpet in several ensembles and Sancha H leading the Bryanston orchestra and string ensembles.
The whole concert was of an astounding standard, befitting Bryanston's national reputation for musical excellence.
