Italian

Our Italian IB curriculum connects pupils to a global culture. Studying Italian equips pupils with language proficiency and a deep understanding and appreciation of Italian culture.

Pupils can explore vibrant traditions, festivals, and culinary delights as they experience Italy's global cultural influence. We provide an array of Italian resources to support pupils in their language-learning journey.

We offer a comprehensive languages library with Italian literature and an online collection of Italian films, providing visual content for language practice.

Additionally, curated music playlists and podcasts expose pupils to the rhythms and nuances of Italian language and culture.

These resources, continuously updated and expanded, enable pupils to deepen their understanding of Italy and develop their language skills.

Italian Beyond the classroom

Immersing pupils in Italian culture is essential for enhancing their learning. In collaboration with the History of Art department, our biennial trip to Italy takes pupils on a journey through Florence, Rome, Venice, and Padua.
