Bryanston School is delighted to announce the formation of its Arts Advisory Board, comprised entirely of distinguished Old Bryanstonians (OBs).
The Board brings talent, knowledge and experience, unlocking a myriad of opportunities for its pupils, especially those with aspirations to pursue a career in the creative and performing arts industry. This follows its recent award for most Dynamic Performing Arts Senior School in the prestigious 2024 Muddy Stiletto’s Best Schools Awards.
The newly formed Arts Advisory Board comprises prominent figures in the arts and entertainment industry, including:
- Mark Wigglesworth, an internationally recognised conductor known for his masterly interpretations in both the opera house and concert hall. He has forged relationships with orchestras and opera companies worldwide, with highlights including performances with the Berlin Philharmonic, Royal Concertgebouw, and London Symphony Orchestra. In 2017, he received the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Opera and he will become Chief Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in September 2024
- Emilia Fox, one of England’s most recognisable actresses and presenters, known for her television roles in Silent Witness, BBC drama Pride and Prejudice and ITV crime drama series Fallen Angel (pictured left in photo at top of page, with two pupils and brother Freddie)
- Jake Gosling, an award-winning English music producer, songwriter and publisher best known for his work with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes and One Direction. He runs his own recording studio, Sticky Studio, and launched Goldun Egg Records in 2017 with a focus on driving creativity and granting artists creative freedom
- Matthew Clyde, a managing executive producer at RiffRaff US working with a range of directors across the creative sector. Matthew started in the industry in 1996 and before RiffRaff spent over 15 years producing TV commercials and live broadcasts working with talent including AC/DC, Beyonce, Madonna, Eminem and more
- Kate Rothschild, a former record producer and now Head of UK Operations for Roc Nation, a full-service entertainment company founded by Jay-Z
- Francesca Gardiner, an award-winning writer and executive producer, whose work includes His Dark Materials, The Man in the High Castle, Succession, and Killing Eve
- Nina Brooke, a contemporary artist who lives and works on the North Coast of Cornwall. As a pioneer of the aerial perspective painting technique, Nina’s love of the ocean and keen wanderlust has taken her on many adventures to capture the world’s most iconic surf breaks and beautiful places to paint
