Bryanston is proud to announce that Ed S, Rayvon A and Harry A have been selected for the Bath Rugby U18 squad this season. Congratulations also goes to Aidan S, Teddy T, Bertie T, Kieron S and Will D for their selection into the U15 Player Development Group (PDG) Southwest squad.
Both groups are part of the prestigious Bath Rugby Pathway Programme, which nurtures young talent and develops future talented Bath Rugby players. For the U18 group, this selection is an opportunity to showcase their skills with the goal of securing a Bath Academy contract, and eventually a professional rugby contract with Bath Rugby.
The Bath Rugby U18 squad represents the pinnacle of junior academy rugby, starting at U14 where players join the Developing Player Programme (DPP), designed to identify and develop promising young rugby players. The programme offers enhanced training, development and competitive opportunities, all managed nationally by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and delivered locally through partnerships between RFU, Bath Academy and Constituent Bodies.
Nick Williams, Bryanston’s Head of Rugby, said: “We are very proud of these boys and their well-deserved selections. This is a significant milestone in their rugby journeys, giving them an exciting opportunity to learn and develop as part of a professional player pathway. Congratulations to all the players for this fantastic achievement!”
