On Tuesday 17 September, Bryanston hosted an action-packed U9 mixed football festival. The event featured ten teams, with Forres Sandle Manor, Castle Court, Sandroyd, Durweston and Bryanston Prep all sending two teams each for an exciting round-robin tournament.
Adding to the lively atmosphere, the games were refereed by our Senior Boys 1st XI players, whilst upbeat music filled the playing fields on a sunny afternoon.
The excitement continued the following day as Bryanston hosted an U11 & U13 boys football festival. This time, we welcomed teams from Bryanston Prep, Blandford St Mary, Sandroyd, Durweston, Castle Court, Ballard, Sunninghill, Clayesmore and Millfield Prep. After competitive group stages and knockout rounds, Blandford St Mary emerged victorious in the U11 category, while Castle Court claimed the U13 title.
All pupils who took part demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, tremendous effort and good spirits.
We would like to thank all the schools who took part, helping to create a positive and energetic atmosphere over both days. We look forward to hosting more sports festivals and other exciting prep school events soon.
