This summer, Bryanston School was alive with activity, hosting a wide range of events, summer schools and residential camps that attracted visitors from across the UK and beyond.

Young athletes had the opportunity to enhance their skills using the school’s outstanding facilities guided by expert coaches across various sports. Among the highlights was the 5-Yards x Bryanston Residential Camp, a two-day event led by former GB International hockey player Ed Horler and Bryanston’s Head of Hockey, James Morris. They were joined by Olympic Gold Medallist Lily Owlsey.

Additionally, the school welcomed the Ultimate Rugby 7s, featuring a coaching team of former and current international players, alongside up and coming national 7s players.

Bryanston’s summer camps offered a broad range of activities, including sports performance, 3D modelling & 3D printing, bouldering, DJing, music production, fun in the Forest School, equestrian pursuits, a “Matilda” musical theatre week, singing, skateboarding sessions and intensive swimming courses.

The school’s rich musical tradition continued with the Dorset Opera’s 50th Anniversary Festival featuring a Gala Concert, performances of Under The Greenwood Tree and Madame Butterfly. Bryanston also hosted Laudemus, a national choral ensemble of singers, while talented young musicians from Japan, Iceland, Canada, Spain and Germany joined the London Suzuki Group filling the school’s halls with their music, culminating in a stunning performance in the Coade Hall theatre.

On the academic front, the esteemed Greek Summer School (JACT) returned, bringing students from across the UK, to its well-renowned two-week residential course. Additionally, the Bryanston International Summer School welcomed students from around the world for an immersive English language course.

Finally, to end a memorable summer, Bryanston had the honour of hosting the wedding of Mark Foster, Head of Football, and his new wife Emily, with family and friends gathering for the special occasion.

Nicholas Dodd, Chief Operating Officer, remarked, “Bryanston never rests. Our campus is a year-round hub of creativity as demonstrated by the hundreds of visitors we welcomed this summer to enjoy our exceptional facilities. I would like to thank our dedicated Support Teams, who worked tirelessly helping those who visited us and preparing for the return of our pupils for what promises to be another successful and inspiring year here at Bryanston.”
