As pupils enjoy a well-deserved half term break, we are thrilled to share an update on university offers received to date. These offers reflect the diverse aspirations of Bryanston pupils spanning a wide range of courses and universities both in the UK and internationally.
UCAS Offers
A total of 137 current and former Bryanston pupils have made 654 course applications to 86 UK universities, including all 24 Russell Group universities. We are delighted to see a strong wave of offers coming in for our pupils across a variety of courses and from leading universities in the UK.
Notable offers so far include University of Cambridge (Linguistics) and University of Oxford (English Language and Literature), Durham University (Music, PPE, Liberal Arts, Physics, History), Imperial College London (Biomedical Engineering), King’s College London (English, History, Nutritional Sciences) UCL, University of Warwick, University of Edinburgh, University of St Andrew’s, The Glasgow School of Art and many others.
Pupils have received offers in a wide range of subjects including Humanities & Social Sciences, STEM, Creative Arts & Media and Professional & Applied Studies, including Game Design, Aerospace Engineering, Fine Art, Digital Marketing, Music, Product Design, and Sports Journalism, showcasing the breadth of interest and ambition within the cohort.
International University Offers
Our pupils have also achieved success at top overseas institutions such as Tufts, New Platz (United States), McGill, UBC, Toronto (Canada), University of Queensland (Australia), Heriot-Watt (Dubai), EHL Hospitality Business School (Switzerland), Hong Kong University (Hong Kong), IE Madrid (Spain) and Instituto Marangoni (London).
Commenting on the offer successes to date, Liz Thornton, Head of Sixth Form, said,
“I am so proud of this cohort. The depth and breadth of offers and courses reflect the talent and skillset at Bryanston. It also proves how important every individual pathway is to us. I pay tribute to the pupils and the Futures Team who have and continue to support them.
“Our A3 (Year 12) pupils are now embarking on the exciting prospects of university and course research and will be carefully guided and steered throughout.”
