As part of a Business Day at Bryanston, our Business and Economics pupils took part in an engaging interactive workshop led by top professionals in the field of sustainability.
Pupils were divided into groups and mentored by these visiting experts, guiding them through the process of developing a sustainable business concept. Each team then pitched their ideas to a panel of judges.
We are extremely grateful to entrepreneurs Sally Duckworth, James Montgomery, Paul Sheehy, Charlie Simpson-Daniel, Gavin Holmes and OB Flinty Bane (Ha ’13) (who recently secured a £50,000 investment for her tech start-up SKIN on Dragons’ Den). They provided our Sixth Formers with invaluable insights into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The winning team, EcoKRUSH, mentored by Sally Duckworth, presented an inspiring idea focused on reducing pollution and enhancing recycling efforts. In a commendable act of social responsibility, they will be donating their prize money to WasteAid.
