In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week (10-16 February), ten pupils from our Sixth Form visited J.P. Morgan’s Head Office for an inspiring day with leaders in financial services.
Ten of our Sixth Formers had talks from Vice Presidents, Managing Directors and current apprentices on Tuesday 11 February, giving an overview of their different roles within the business. Pupils engaged with risk-based activities and had to think on their feet to make the correct business decisions to minimise the risk.
Head of Future Pathways Mr Bray commented: “The pupils engaged well and immersed themselves with the tasks that were set. This gave them a good insight into the operations of a global bank and the opportunities they have in the future. We were one of just a few schools given this special opportunity to attend their Open Day and we are very grateful.”
