Yesterday, Bryanston Prep was transformed into a winter wonderland as the first snow of the season blanketed the campus, much to the excitement of everyone – children and staff!
Head Simon Ridley extended playtime allowing the children to enjoy running and playing in the snow-covered grounds surrounding the school. They built snowmen, flung snowballs, and dashed through powdery trails beneath the trees around the estate.
Nursery children, booted and suited in cosy layers, headed to the school’s Forest School for a snowy adventure and then huddled together around the fire pit in the sheltered area. After break, everyone came indoors to warm up with a welcome hot chocolate.
Head Simon Ridley said, “Everyone remembers a snow day from when they were little. Today was about capturing a magical moment. It was a joy to watch the children shrieking with excitement as they played and made the most of the snow. It’ll no doubt be a cherished childhood memory for years to come.”
