Magnificent ‘Peter Pan’ Prep Performance

24 March 2025

Year 5 and 6 Prep Pupils Performing Peter Pan

On Thursday afternoon, our Year 5 and 6 pupils truly shone in their first-ever musical performance in Bryanston’s Coade Hall theatre. After months of dedicated preparation, they sang, danced, and brought the magic of Peter Pan to life with remarkable poise, care, and talent.

From the moment the audience arrived, they were greeted by an impressive set and a vibrant array of costumes. The rapturous applause and cheers never waned throughout the show, reflecting everyone’s enjoyment of the beautifully performed songs, dances, and entertainment.

Both year groups displayed impressive teamwork on stage and every member of the cast worked tirelessly in rehearsals leading up to the performance. Special accolades go to Archie (Peter), Herbie (Captain Hook), Saskia (Wendy), Kai Hsi (Tinker Bell), and Sofia (Tiger Lily) for leading the performance with such confidence. For pupils who had never performed in a theatre or taken part in a musical, this achievement was truly remarkable and will undoubtedly pave the way for future successes.

Offstage, pupils demonstrated maturity and professionalism, culminating in a meticulously orchestrated show. This production exemplifies the high standards of performance we can achieve as a through school, guided by the expertise of the Senior School Performing Arts department and the dedicated team at Coade Hall.

Flora Davies, Year 5 tutor from Bryanston Prep, said: “We’ve always known our pupils had exceptional potential but watching them come together in this production exceeded even our highest hopes. The determination, teamwork, and flair they demonstrated on stage was truly inspiring. Congratulations to everyone who took part.”
