Graham Scott

Deputy Director of Music & Head of Keyboard

Graham has been Head of Keyboard at Bryanston since 2003, became Assistant Director of Music (Instrumental) in 2008 and Deputy Director of Music in 2018. His current role includes teaching organ, piano, and academic music as well as accompanying and coaching music scholars.

His organ students have won scholarships to Cambridge, Oxford, St Andrews and the Royal Academy of Music. Graham is also a conductor and accompanist of Bryanston Chamber Choir and has directed them in venues including Chichester, Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals.

Born in Aberdeen, he studied at the RSAMD in Glasgow, where he won nine prizes and graduated with First Class Honours in 1998. After completing a PGCE at University of Strathclyde, he undertook postgraduate performance studies at the Toulouse Conservatoire (where he was awarded the Premier Prix in Organ), and at Amsterdam Conservatorium.
