Congratulations to all ten finalists who competed in the Saxton Instrumental Final for Seniors on Wednesday 5 March.
Sancha H was the overall winner, and Oliver H and Loughlin T were awarded with ‘Highly Commended’. Arnold G was given an ‘Honourable Mention’.
The pupils that took part, were William B-K (double bass), Arnold G (guitar), Sancha H (piano), Oliver H (violin), Astral N (violin), Oliver S (violin), Loughlin T (double bass), Sofia T-C (violin), James W (French horn) and Steven Z (violin).
Director of Music Xavier Iles, commented: “The evening’s competition demonstrated what a highly talented group of musicians we have. Congratulations to each of them for their exceptional performances.”
