Personal Enrichment Programme (PEP)

Prep School Curriculum

PEP gives our children the opportunity to explore many things they already do at school in greater detail or from a different point of view. PEPs are also an opportunity for children to try out new fun activities, and help prepare them for 21st century life.

PEPs are divided into three categories, which are all about encouraging a ‘have a go,’ attitude with our children.

  • Academic enrichment – activities will be fun but will impart knowledge or bring to light new ideas and new ways of thinking
  • Movement and sport enrichment – there may be opportunities to learn sports other than those on the curriculum at Bryanston Prep, to try different approaches to sports your child knows well, and finally, to simply have fun with sport and movement
  • Creative arts – enrichment may include the opportunity to try crafts, sewing, dance and additional art

Empowering children to take on that ‘can-do’ ethos will hold them in good stead for the future.

Whether it’s moving on to senior school, taking exams, or, preparing for their lives after school, we instil the belief in our children that it really is all about the taking part and ‘giving it a go’ that counts.

All three PEP categories are devised to expand on children’s learning in ways that differ from the methods used during their school day.
