Record IB Results for Bryanston Pupils

Bryanston is delighted to announce a record set of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma results. The 2024 results, published on 6th July, show that Bryanston pupils achieved an impressive average Diploma score of 38 points, with 64% achieving 40 points or more – the equivalent of A*A*A*A* at A Level. This is well above the international average of 30 points for diploma candidates.

The school is proud of all its IB pupils, particularly those who achieved exceptional scores of 43, 44 and the maximum score of 45 points for their diplomas. Less than 1% of students worldwide achieve 45 points, highlighting the remarkable success of Bryanston’s pupils.

Offers have been received from a range of universities including Cambridge, UCL, Durham, York, IE Madrid and UBC, Canada.

IBDP Coordinator Ed Pyke, commented: "I am extremely proud of all of our pupils who have made a huge contribution to the school, as well as the local and global community. Our IB leavers of 2024 are diligent, creative, critical thinkers who are a credit to the school and will go out into the world and make a difference."

Head Richard Jones added, “Many congratulations to the Class of 2024 for these outstanding IB results which are very well-deserved and testament to the hard work and commitment of the pupils and staff.”

Bryanston is proud to be one of few schools to offer a diverse academic curriculum which includes IB, A Levels and CTECs. This ensures that we meet the needs of all pupils and their various aspirations.
