Bryanston Sports Conference 2025: The Powerhouse Pupil

The Powerhouse Project and Bryanston School are very excited to invite you to our 2025 Sport Conference focused on empowering women and girls through sport.

  • For pupils in Year 8 and above
  • Hosted by Bryanston School

You will have the opportunity to meet industry-leading women from across Sports Media, Sports Coaching, Sports Business and Sports Wellbeing.

The Powerhouse Project is dedicated to using the power of sport to empower women. Through its work it has partnered with some of the biggest powerhouses in sport including Nike, The Football Association, Right to Dream and the Global Institute of Sport.

The Powerhouse Project specialises in creating opportunities and experiences that educate, elevate and enable our community to become leaders, giving them the tools they need to positively impact the lives of others.

Sport conference speakers 2025

Mollie and Rosie Kmita

Mollie and Rosie are ex-professional footballers turned sports broadcasters, hosts and Co-Founders of The Powerhouse Project. They are trailblazing the way in women’s sport and have recently joined as members of the Bryanston Sports Advisory Board.

The Powerhouse Project exists to empower, upskill and inspire women in football and beyond, by creating opportunities and experiences to educate and elevate the Powerhouse Community.

Mollie and Rosie will be utilising their industry experience to lead a sports media masterclass for the young people and guests at the event.

We have been involved in the industry in a variety of roles, from players to broadcasters and business owners and want to show the next generation that anything is possible. Keely Watson“I’m Keely, part of the Powerhouse collective and producer at BBC Sport – I’m lucky to be able to work across pretty much all sports but I specialise in women’s football where I get to take on a range of responsibilities – from presenting, to producing, content creating, directing and editing for digital, tv and social media – no day is ever the same. I’m fortunate enough to have my dream job! My career highlight so far is going to Australia for the Women’s World Cup!”

Maria HaslerMaria epitomises excellence in sports marketing and athlete development, currently serving as the Senior Commercial Rights Manager at Arsenal and will be joining us to share her vast sports marketing wisdom!

In this capacity, Maria leads the management of player image rights for both male and female athletes working closely with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Alessia Russo, underscoring her commitment to gender equality within the sport. Her new beginning at Arsenal marks another milestone in her illustrious career, where she continues to drive forward the representation and empowerment of athletes at all levels.

Before her role at Arsenal, Maria made significant contributions to the landscape of women’s football during her time at Nike. As part of the Sports Marketing division, she played a pivotal role in identifying and negotiating player contracts, aligning Nike’s initiatives with the long-term vision and goals for women’s football. Maria’s strategic foresight and dedication were instrumental in elevating the visibility and recognition of female athletes within the sport.

Edel McCann

Edel McCann is a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist with specialised expertise in female health, sports performance, and injury prevention. Driven by a passion for empowering female athletes, she has developed impactful initiatives to promote health, well-being, and increased participation in sports for girls.

Edel is highly engaged in professional training and community outreach, offering workshops, webinars, and tailored education for physiotherapists, fitness professionals, and young athletes, fostering excellence both on and off the field. Edel will be leading the Sports Wellbeing aspect of The Powerhouse Pupil School Sport Summit at Bryanston School!
