Bryanston appoints professional sports leaders to its Sports Advisory Board

Mentoring is an integral part of what we offer our pupils at Bryanston. There is no better way to motivate and inspire youngsters than through the wisdom and experience of others.

We are privileged to have a network of experts who offer inspiration and support to our staff and pupils across our four pillars: Sports, Creative and Performing Arts, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Digital World.

This year, we have formed Bryanston’s Sports Advisory Board consisting of high-performance sports leaders from various disciplines in the world of professional sports. They will ensure our sports programme consistently evolves at the highest level, nurturing the growth and development of our young athletes. In support of our “sport for all” ethos, they offer guidance on our performance pathways, helping us to identify, develop and prepare pupils for high-performance sports careers.

  • Kumar Sangakkara, the highly respected former Sri Lanka Test cricketer. Renowned as one of the greatest wicket-keeper-batsmen of all time, Kumar’s remarkable expertise and experience helps guide our cricket programme

  • Phil De Glanville, (OB) former England captain and RFU Council Board member. Phil's leadership and strategic insight, honed during his tenure at Bath Rugby, greatly benefit our sports programmes

  • Rosie and Mollie Kmita, former professional footballers turned broadcasters. Rosie made history in 2019 by becoming the first woman of Asian heritage to sign professionally with West Ham. The pair host the weekly Women’s Championship show and Sky Sports' 'The Dub'. Mollie is a frequent contributor to MUTV, and both have collaborated with platforms like BBC’s MOTDx and TalkSPORT
  • Abbie Brown, English rugby sevens Captain and a member of the Great Britain women’s team for the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.

We wish them all a warm welcome and look forward to working with them to offer our pupils the very best support on their sporting journey at Bryanston and beyond.
