Pupils summit Snowdon as part of Gold Duke of Edinburgh
Published: 23 July 2019
It was a superb Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award Walking Expedition in North Wales last week
Thirty pupils from A3 took part and successfully completed the four-day walk.
Although the weather was not always kind to the groups, they worked well to overcome the challenges faced over the four days. All of the pupils summited Snowdon to stand on the highest mountain in North Wales during the expedition. Stories of adventures will come out in due course but, for now, pupils are recovering and resting after completing the expedition section of their Gold Award.
Congratulations to all who took part, a fantastic achievement at the start of the summer holidays.
