Bryanston hosts special community event for town councillors, businesses and schools
The mayor, other elected representatives from the local community, local retailers and senior staff from neighbouring schools attended a special community evening at Bryanston on Friday 6 March.
Hosted by Headmaster Mark Mortimer and with an attendance in excess of 100, the event aimed to highlight the importance and celebrate the success of collaborative initiatives such as the Blandford Schools’ Network (BSN) and new programmes like Bryanston’s loyalty card scheme for local shops. The evening was the perfect opportunity to share ideas on future collaborative ventures for the benefit of all areas of the local community and featured musical interludes provided by a number of Bryanston’s music scholars.
Among the attendees were local councillors from Blandford Town Council including the Town Mayor, Cllr Lynn Lindsay, the heads of many local primary and secondary schools within the Blandford Schools’ Network, owners and managers of local retail outlets as well as a number of local governors of Bryanston.
