Bryanston Wins ‘Dynamic Performing Arts’ Award

Bryanston School has been named winner of Dynamic Performing Arts in this year’s Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Awards. With more than 500 schools nationwide taking part, the judges felt Bryanston “stood out.”

Bryanston is internationally renowned for its excellence in the Arts, one of the school’s four core value pillars, alongside Sports, Digital and Entrepreneurial & Innovation. Creativity in the Arts is integral to school life and is celebrated annually at the Bryanston Festival.

Curated by Victoria Green, Director of Performing Arts, this event showcases the school’s talents in drama, dance, film, music and DJ’ing. It also provides a major performance platform for pupils to demonstrate their skills in choreography, technical and dramatic direction, lighting, stage management and design.

Held at the end of the summer term, Bryanston Festival is a week-long celebration of creativity and performance featuring pupil-directed shows that demonstrate the diverse talents within the school. The festival embraces the entire Bryanston community, including pupils, parents, staff and local primary schools within the Blandford Schools’ Network.

Director of Performing Arts, Victoria Green, commented:

“The Bryanston Festival is a celebration of Bryanston’s creativity and performance across multiple disciplines. It provides an opportunity for pupils to showcase their skills, passion and creativity, bringing the whole Bryanston family together to mark the end of the academic year and the beginning of the summer holidays. We are really excited for this year’s festival, which promises to be an extraordinary week of creativity at Bryanston.”

Commenting on the achievement, Head Richard Jones, said:
