Biologists receive Gold certificates in challenge competition
At the end of the spring term, 65 C pupils took part in the Biology Challenge Competition. The challenge is a national competition run by the Royal Society of Biology with over 40,000 pupils entering, from all over the UK.
Congratulations to the following pupils who all received Gold Certificates: Max B, Solly D, Henry E, Mara F, Freddie F, India G, Naima H, Eleanor P and George P. This is very impressive as only the top 5% of entrants are awarded Gold, and for nine Bryanstonians to achieve this, they should be very proud.
Two of these pupils, Max B and Freddie F, scored so well within the Gold cohort, that they have been invited to enter the Intermediate Biology Olympiad after half term, a competition run for sixth formers. We wish them the best of luck.
