A3 Scholars Concert
The A3 music scholars performed a superb scholars' concert on Wednesday 14 October.
Max H began the concert with singing Down by the Salley Gardens followed by Eric H playing the second movement from Stamitz's Viola Concerto in D. Cairo F then played Gershwin's Prelude No. 2followed by Harriet Jones singing Music for a While. Eric then returned to the stage to play Brahms' Intermezzo No. 2 and Evangeline C performed the Largo movement from Chopin's Sonata for Cello. Poppy H played Bridge's Canzonetta and finally Sophia E played Brazileira from Milhaud's 'Scaramouche' on the alto saxophone.
Congratulations to all scholars for their fantastic performances and many thanks to the accompanists: Graham Scott, Caroline Clipsham and Matthew Shenton.
