Success at National Schools Climbing Competition
Monday 4 February saw Bryanston School entering its first National Schools Climbing Competition with some fantastic results.
The event was held at two climbing walls in Bristol and run by The Climbing Academy Group. James L, Archie O and Ollie S represented Bryanston in both the Individual and Team events, competing over a range of climbing styles, including Bouldering, Speed Climbing, Route Climbing and Lead Climbing. We are very proud of their efforts throughout the day, finishing in 4th place in the Team Event against a very strong field of schools.
With competitive climbing making an entry at the next Olympics, it is an exciting time for the sport, which is gaining more publicity and interest from our pupils. James, Archie and Ollie approached the event with maturity, focus, strength and respect. Congratulations to you all.
