Art pupils visit local primary school to help prepare for community festival
With the preparations already underway for Christmas, some of our Art pupils visited Blandford St Mary Primary School to lead a number of workshops as they prepare for the Yuletide Festival.
The ninth Yuletide Festival takes place on Wednesday 11 December where the Blandford Primary Schools' Parade is considered somewhat of a highlight.
A2 pupils hosted the festive-themed workshop where snowmen and Father Christmases were aplenty. With pupils in years 3 to 6 all involved, the workshop aimed to allow as many children as possible to attend the parade and join the festive celebrations.
The Headteacher of Blandford St Mary Primary School, Rosaleen Beaver, was thrilled with the collaboration and we are looking to organise a number of other joint projects in the future.
