Pupils spend a cultural weekend in Paris
Published: 6 December 2019
Last Friday morning, 22 A2 pupils studying Art and History of Art departed the Bryanston School grounds to begin a busy weekend in France.
Paris was the destination and after a short journey on the Eurostar, the pupils were soon sampling the French lifestyle. With a packed itinerary, pupils wasted no time as they visited the renowned Louvre on the Friday evening, returning to their accommodation at the Gard du Nord before a busy day on Saturday.
The day started with a visit to the Musée d'Orsay, followed by the Rodin Museum, finally finishing at the Modern Art Museum. Before returning to England, the pupils briefly viewed the exhibits in the Pompidou Centre which drew the curtain on a successful trip.
