Pupil fundraising to hit £1,000 target for The Little Princess Trust
A2 pupil Ines F has grown her hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust and is also hoping to raise £1,000 by shaving her head for the charity if she reaches her target.
The Little Princess Trust is a charity that gives hair and hope to young people by providing wigs and funding vital research into children’s cancers.
Ines commented: “In the first lockdown, I had the idea that since I couldn’t get my hair cut, it would be the perfect opportunity to grow it out to make the best wig possible and then donate it to charity. At the time of donation, I would be cutting off over 20 inches of hair and donating it for a child that has sadly lost their hair. I then decided that if I can reach my target of £1,000, I will also shave my head.”
