Bryanston mathematicians triumph in Regional Senior Team Mathematics Challenge
Congratulations to the team of Bryanston mathematicians on winning a place in the National Finals of the prestigious United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Senior Team Mathematics Challenge.
The team of George L, Shirley H, Bertie EW and George D tackled a series of demanding mathematical challenges for over three hours in the regional final of the UKMT Senior Team Maths Challenge at Poole High School.
Lying in the top five after the first two rounds, the Bryanston team were pushed all the way in the final relay round. However, the team showed excellent character in solving some extremely difficult mathematical problems and were a great credit to the school as they achieved an outstanding result.
This is the first time ever that Bryanston has won the regional finals of an UKMT event and the team will now progress to the National Finals in London in February 2017.
