Bryanston basketball team win their inaugural game
Published: 3 March 2017
The Bryanston basketball team played their first ever game last week, against Weymouth Oilers.
Overall it was a very competitive match against the U14 basketball club and a huge learning curve for our younger players. Bryanston won the game 59-19 due to their superior fitness and attacking fast break! While the team won the game comfortably, the game highlighted the need to develop defensive structures.
The stand out players were Jack Q who scored 24 points, James N who scored 14 points and Jack B who scored 10 points.
We look forward to the the senior boys' first competitive match on 9 March against Clayesmore, for which they are training hard. Good luck team Bryanston.
