Success in UK Linguistics Olympiad
In February ten Bryanston pupils took part in the UK Linguistics Olympiad (UKLO) and we are delighted to announce the results.
The UKLO is a competition for pupils of any age or ability, who are still at school, during which they solve linguistic data problems. There are four levels and advanced is the highest of these, with pupils required to sit a two-and-a-half-hour paper under exam conditions.
Congratulations to George L on achieving a Gold at the advanced level, which is only awarded to the top 5% of all entrants each year, and to Oscar V, who recieved a Bronze and Emilia B who came very close too.
Seven other Bryanston pupils also entered for what turned out to be a very hard paper and all should be very proud of getting this far.
Well done to you all.
